Message from the Chief Executive Officer

Dear Friends, Partners, Supporters, and Fellow Citizens of Pakistan,

It is with great pride, unwavering hope, and a deep sense of purpose that I announce the official launch of the Resilience Initiative for Sustainable Empowerment Foundation (RISE Foundation) a new organization born to serve and strengthen the most vulnerable communities across Pakistan.

Our nation stands at a crossroads: escalating climate emergencies, frequent disasters, deepening inequalities, and the pressing need for inclusive, long-term development. In the face of these realities, RISE Foundation chooses courage over complacency. We are here to help communities not just survive, but thrive with dignity and self-reliance.

What sets RISE apart from day one is our exceptionally experienced core team. We are fortunate to have on board a dedicated senior sector expert with decades of hands-on experience in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, sustainable livelihoods, community empowerment, and grassroots development across Pakistan. This seasoned professional brings proven expertise from leading large-scale programs, navigating complex crises, and delivering measurable, lasting impact in some of the country’s most challenging environments. Their guidance ensures that every initiative we undertake is strategic, locally rooted, technically sound, and built for sustainability.

• Education, vocational skills, and youth leadership programs
• Women’s economic and social empowerment initiatives
• Environmental conservation and sustainable resource management
