Our Governance Framework

RISE Foundation operates under a robust governance framework that provides strategic direction, oversight, and accountability. Our governance structure ensures responsible decision-making, compliance with legal requirements, and effective management of organizational resources.

The governance framework includes the Board of Directors, Executive Management, and programme and operational committees that guide and oversee the organization’s work.


Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight to RISE Foundation. The Board is responsible for approving organizational policies, setting strategic direction, overseeing financial management, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Board members act in the best interest of the organization and uphold principles of integrity, independence, transparency, and accountability.


Legal & Regulatory Compliance

RISE Foundation is registered as a non-profit company under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 and is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

The Foundation complies with all applicable national laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, including corporate filings, financial disclosures, and reporting obligations.


Financial Management & Accountability

RISE Foundation follows sound financial management practices to ensure responsible and transparent use of funds. Financial systems and controls are designed to safeguard resources and ensure accountability to donors, partners, and beneficiaries.

Key financial management practices include proper budgeting and planning, internal controls, segregation of duties, regular financial reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.


Policies & Ethical Standards

RISE Foundation operates under clear organizational policies and ethical standards that guide professional conduct and organizational integrity. These policies promote transparency, fairness, safeguarding, and zero tolerance for fraud, corruption, or misconduct.

Key policies include the Code of Conduct, Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy, Safeguarding and Protection Policy, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Data Protection and Privacy Policy.


Risk Management & Safeguarding

RISE Foundation actively identifies, assesses, and manages risks related to programme delivery, financial management, operational integrity, and safeguarding. Protecting the rights, dignity, and well-being of communities, staff, volunteers, and partners is a core priority of the organization.


Transparency & Reporting
