Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene is essential for health, dignity, and development. RISE Foundation works to prevent WASH-related diseases by ensuring reliable access to clean water, improved sanitation, and safe hygiene practices.
RISE implements WASH programmes in communities, schools, health facilities, refugee camps, and humanitarian settings. Our work spans the disaster cycle, from emergency response to recovery and long-term development.
Interventions include installation and rehabilitation of water supply systems, construction of sanitation facilities using Build Back Better approaches, hygiene promotion, and community-led behavior change initiatives.
We promote community ownership of WASH systems by building technical, managerial, and operational capacity. Communities are supported to manage and maintain water systems, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.
